Company Announcement
S1’s co founder and Chairman Mr Eng Lee will be leaving the organisation at the end of December 2015 after 12.5 years in the role.
“Working to establish S1 as one of the most recognisable Higher Ed and Further Ed Software and Service supplier has been one of the most wonderful privileges of my working career”, said Lee. “I am so proud to have been part of an amazing and outstanding team of people who created S1.”
ECLEVA’s CEO and Managing Director Martin Halmarick wished Lee the very best and thanked him for his substantial contribution over the many years. “We are poised for continuing growth and to deepen further, our commitment to the Education Sector as a whole especially with our new Student Retention release.”
In serving as S1’s Chairman, Lee oversaw the establishment of our Resource Sector Project Management business, assisted with long termed contracts with several NSW and Victorian educational institutions and assembled unique talent and expertise in acquisitions, mergers and technical leadership within the company for ongoing success. Lee has sold his interest to PnP, owned and managed by Patrick Northcott.
“After 8 years of working hand in glove with PnP, developing the suite of EduRe Solutions together, doing several joint projects, I can see no better fit than S1 and PnP working closer together as a single unit. There is a great synergy in these 2 organisations not seen often in the software business”.
“Lee’s leadership championed the importance of education and managing the processes that make it happen. He has positioned S1 to achieve its vision and to the ongoing success,” said Martin.
Prior to joining S1, Eng Lee was founder and CEO of Australian Software Innovations, a company which he listed on the Nasdaq and also CEO of Callista Software Services.
